A concert with the performance of the Tubinger symphony
orchestra (from Germany) and the Vietnamese symphony orchestra will take place
at the Hanoi Opera House in the evening of 20-21 September.
Two orchestras’ artists will perform such compositions as
the concerto for violin and oboe D minor of Johann Sebastian Bach, the concerto
for violin, No. 5 symphony, the concerto for violin, op. 107 “Reformation
Symphony” of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
Participants included the oboist named Hoàng Tùng who won
the first prize in the exam of the Asian symphony orchestra in Bangkok
(Thailand) and the Hanoi string quintet. At the moment, he is a main-part
oboist of the Asian Youth orchestra.
This was the first time the Tubinger symphony orchestra
arrived in Vietnam in the framework of the 27-day concert tour in the Southeast
Asia. Artists of the Tubinger symphony orchestra will participate
in the conferences and concerts in Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Young musicians of the Tubinger symphony orchestra will have
the working programs and cultural exchanges with young musicians region-wide.
The Tubinger symphony orchestra was founded in 1957 with a
desire to strengthen the relation with the foreign universities and the youth
associations, and to link many young musicians worldwide. Up to now, the
orchestra has presented nearly 70 performance tours in 90 countries and
regions. Mr. Gudni Emilsson has been the orchestra Art Director since 1999.
Under his instruction, artists of the Tubinger symphony orchestra have
performed annually in Vietnam since 2005.
