Vietnamese well-known pianist Dang Thai Son will perform special concerts titled All Beethoven's Piano Concerto under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji from January 15-18 at the Ha Noi Opera House.

He will perform with the Viet Nam National Symphony Orchestra Piano concerto No 1-No 2-No 3 on January 15. The artists will perform Piano Concerto No 4-No 5 on January 18.

The concert marks the return of the talented artist to his native country two years after his performance in Ha Noi to celebrate the 200th birthday of Chopin in January 2010.

Son is known as one of the world's leading pianists.

He was the first Asian to receive the First Prize and Gold Medal at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1980.

Now he lives in Canada, but he returns to Viet Nam almost every year. He also participated in 2010 in the Ha Noi International Piano Contest as Honorary Chairman.
